After all the wind and rain the evening for our June outing was
sunny and calm! Mr. & Mrs Wilfred Weld kindly invited members to
visit their lovely garden beside the river at Wool. After giving us a
guided tour which included details of the history of the site, the
wildlife and the plants, the evening finished with refreshments. It was
three years since the members last visited and it was interesting to see
how the gardens had developed in that time. We were very grateful to
both Mr & Mrs Weld for the opportunity to re-visit their home and
for their hospitality.
