Twenty Members attended the March meeting.
The
Annual Show Secretary brought the meeting up to date with her thoughts
on how she hopes to get more people to put in entries for the show on
31st August, 2013.
Members were reminded that the Fuchsia Cuttings would be given out at the April meeting.
There
then followed a very interesting talk by Maddy Rock on Kingston Lacy.
She explained how the gardens have been restored since the National
Trust had taken Kingston Lacy over. The talk was illustrated with some
beautiful pictures of the gardens through the year starting with their
wonderful collection of Snowdrops in the spring right through to the
colours of
the trees in autumn and their shapes in winter.
Flower of the Month Competition - was won by Jan Ravensdale.
